Ajax...Come Out to Plaaayeeee

Upon watching The Warriors for the first time this past weekend, I found myself shamefully crushing on the character of Ajax, as played by young James Remar.  Ajax is a secondary gang member in the notorious "Warriors".  The Warriors are the "good guys" of the film, but Ajax is the bad guy of the good guys.  There is Swan, the leader of the Warriors who is supposed to be the "hot guy."  I don't find Swan to be attractive.

I don't know what it is about Ajax that does it for me. Personality-wise he doesn't really have very many redeeming qualities--he's always trying to sleep with random women, asking people if they have "gone faggot", or start fights.  If I met him in real life, I'd probably want to kick him in the testicles.  Also, I don't usually crush on jerky fictitious characters, or real-life assholes either.  But when he rides the subway wearing that guyliner so badassly, or when he gives a group of skinheads the finger, or when he tells someone from a rival gang (The Baseball Furies) "I'll shove that bat up your ass and turn you into a popsicle", it makes me want to be his fictitious girlfriend.
